  • A pack with a surface area greater than 75cm2 (e.g. Hamlet Miniatures 10s) is required to have a health warning (text) on the front of the pack and a health warning (pictorial) on the back of the pack, each being 22.5cm2
  • Packs with a surface area of 75cm2 or less are required to have health warnings of 30% (text) front of pack and 40% (pictorial) back of pack
  • The two rotational text health warnings on the FRONT of pack will remain the same
  • Health warnings on Hamlet 50s tins will be displayed on two of three sides (one text health warning and one pictorial health warning, each being 22.5cm2)
  • No fiscal mark is required
  • Cardboard display outers (i.e. 20 packs of 5s) are not a consumer-facing unit of sale and are therefore not required to carry health warnings
  • As with cigarettes, multipacks are a retail unit and therefore must display health warnings of 30% (text) front of pack and 40% (pictorial) back of pack or 22.5cm2 if the total surface area is greater than 75cm2
  • On JTI's Hamlet products, where text reads 'Made in the EU by JR Freeman & Son' it will change to 'Made in the UK by JR Freeman & Son'
  • On JTI's cigar products the consumer care message has been updated to reflect JT International's contact details
